One of 13 puppies born to Pauline Cronje’s champion bitch, Zekkie and Dexter, Maverick was always going to be something special. He found his way back to my house after his original owners had to move their business to Mozambique. For Shane it was love at first sight and after a couple of months with me, Maverick found his new home with Shane and his family.

Needless to say there was great excitement in our camp when Maverick and Shane won the Grand Victor title for Junior Dogs at the Grand Victor Show held on the 13th and 14th of March 2010.

Maverick – a name which suits him perfectly – is a member of the Rotek Working Club, and it is a result of the efforts of Shane, Marius Vorster and John Swartz that he was the only rottie in S.A. to qualify for a BST (Breed Suitability Test) after the Meridian Rottweiler Grand Victor Show.

Now that Maverick is a big boy, his career as a top stud dog has started – there is no reason to believe that he won’t follow in his father’s footsteps and consistently produce beautiful rottweilers for people to love as much as we do!!

Maverick won his first CC at the Durban show held on the weekend of the 1st of May 2010!!

Maverick obtained his ITT2 qualification!!!
